this is my second time to stay here, now i am stay for sleep and have an conference for my association, for room is good, bed and pillow are comfort, breakfast many variety, especially coffee tarutung (traditional coffee from one of village/city in north sumatra) and lontong sayur medan (soup and vegetable)

I stayed just for one night, the check in was smooth and comfortable, the lobby is beautiful and big, I was greeted and handled by Mr. Simson, friendly,helpful, his hospitality is stunning, this hotel is super amazing, the room is cozy bed and pillow super comfortable. The breakfast also a lot of Indonesian Variant I love it, specially Nasi goreng and Lupus are delicious. Will come back to this hotel. And will recommend to all friends and family. See you again Santika Medan.

only ± 40 minutes from Kualanamu airport (30 minutes airport train ride to Stasiun Medan + about 5/10 minutes of online taxi/walking to the hotel).. located in the city center, easy to reach and easy to go anywhere.. the hotel/room? comfortable and affordable

The room is clean , the Air cond is cool, the net is excellent also the food are deicious with the traditional food, the mi so also , the People around here are promt response since from booking throught whatsup. GM Bapak Sarmad is also friendly and the team here knowing me well. Feel like at home will come back soon

Enough reasons for me to stay out of this hotel

I stayed here 4-nights for a conference that’s also happening in this hotel. So many things have gone wrong and enough reasons for me not coming back. 1. The reception (or should I said “deception”?), misguided me. They said my room is upgraded to Premiere room, with complimentary afternoon tea, and minibar. More about this below. 2. Went to the room but nothing special, also the weird furniture placement makes the room smaller. Room has view but mostly just building roofs. Appreciate the giant shower head though. 3. Went for afternoon tea with my business colleague and the waitress said I’m not eligible for the complimentary. She said the receptionist made a mistake. Fine. 4. Got a call from reception, she said that Ieft my ID card at the reception. Which can be avoided if she did not forget to pass the ID card back after she copied it in. Went back to reception to get my ID card, and ask the reception about the afternoon tea to confirm whether I’m eligible or not. She said not and the minibar also not free unfortunately. Thank God I haven’t eat anything from the minibar 5. Breakfast at level 3 is unorganized, chaotic, and basically madness without crowd control. However I managed to get to the level 10 which is more quiet. Food quality is average. 6. I realized an item missing from the minibar, I did not consume them at all. I called in the operator and they were like “are you sure you’re staying alone, Sir?” I’m like… unbelieveable, why don’t you check with the housekeeping if they removed it or else? I just don’t want it to be billed on my room charge. I know it’s just a potato chip that I could easily replace from minimart, but imagine if they took other items and then billed it to your room. 7. The only nice experience I had in this hotel is the dinner, food surprisingly decent. Also the service is nice (maybe because we were the only customers?). Oh and concierge staffs also very helpful keeping my deliveries and helping me with my stuff when I checked out without me asking.
